Improve Cholesterol by Exercising

What is the cost free method to reduce cholesterol? It is exercising. Our body requires cholesterol to produce hormones, but excessive amounts are not desirable. High cholesterol circulating in blood vessels increases the risk of coronary heart disease, because of the clot created inside the blood vessel. There are various methods to help you reducing this risk. One method which almost with no cost is by exercising.

  

Cholesterol attached to a carrier substance, known as lipoprotein, and circulated in the blood vessel. There are two types which are high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL). And it is the LDL which is the high risk blood cholesterol carrier, and common known as bad cholesterol. On the other hand, increased level of HDL has a protective effect for coronary heart disease. Medical research shows that exercise reduces the risk of coronary heart disease. It is because exercise improves the lipoprotein profile.

How much exercise is correct? The research shows that it is the amount of exercise which is important. It does not matter you exercise extremely hard with high energy, or just general energy consumption exercise. The most critical factor is the amount, you need to exercise in the maximum duration you can. Consult your doctor to ensure the level of exercise is suitable to your health condition.

So,get started whether you have high cholesterol or not. Exercise will definitely improve your health.
